New to Nail Stamping? Here Are The Basics!
The majority of women love getting their nails done. Unfortunately, in order to keep them looking great, it takes dedication and a good amount of money. Wouldn’t be great if there was a way to do your nails yourself in the comfort of your own home and not have to worry about the extreme cost or the constant upkeep? Now there is!
What is Nail Stamping?
Nail stamping is a process that has been gaining popularity over the last few years. It entails transferring a design via a stamper that has been obtained from a nail plate beforehand.
What Do You Need?
In order to successfully stamp your nails you will need several supplies. Let’s talk about each one and what the purpose of each one is.
-
Stamping Plate
A stamping plate is a metal plate that is covered in engraved designs that will eventually be the same designs that you put onto your nails. -
Rubber Stamper
The rubber stamper is used to transfer the design from the stamping plate to your nail. It makes sure that the design remains intact and can be successfully put onto your fingernail. -
Scraper
In order to transfer a design, you have to apply nail polish to your stamping plate. To remove the excess nail polish from the design on the plate, a scraper is used. Some people use leftover gift cards or any other plastic card in their wallets that don’t get much use. -
Nail Polish
As we just mentioned, you of course need nail polish that will actually make the design on your nail appear.
